Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam has recently released two recruitment notifications for the various 223 GRADE III and GRADE IV posts in newly established Polytechnics in Tinsukia, Morigaon, Chirang, Udalguri and Hailakandi.
Online applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates for the above mentioned DTE Assam Recruitment 2020.

Details of DTE Assam Recruitment 2020
1. Junior Assistant (Grade-III)
No. of posts: 63 posts.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any Examination declared equivalent by the Govt. and Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on computer.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500plus Grade Pay of Rs.6200/-.
2. Junior Instructor (Grade-III)
No. of posts: 83 posts.
Educational Qualification: Passed HSLC or TSLC and having a Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade. The experience must be from Govt. recognised organisation
Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500plus Grade Pay of Rs.6800/-.
3. Scientific Assistant
No. of posts: 22 posts.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates having Major/Honours in Physics in Degree level.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs. 14000-60500 plus Grade Pay of Rs.7400/-.
4. Grade-IV (Bearer, Peon, Chowkidar, Workshop Jugalietc)
No. of posts: 55 posts.
Educational Qualification: Class VIII passed.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Govt. rules.
Pay Scale: PB of Rs. 12000-52000 plus Grade Pay of Rs.3900/-.

Candidates are requested to apply online in the Official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam by logging into www.dte.assam.gov.in.
The candidate must upload the scan copy of the proof of Permanent resident of Assam (Voter id or PRC), Qualifying examination, Age, Caste etc. along with recent passport size photograph and specimen signature at the time of online application of DTE Assam Recruitment 2020.
